If you’re a history buff, you won’t want to miss the opportunity to visit George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate. Commuting via these modes of transportation is a breeze and offers a convenient way to get to and from the city. Whether you’re a history buff or simply looking for a date night out in the city, riding the VRE and Metro is a must-do experience while stationed at Fort Belvoir.
